Coach Calhoun ride for The Cure, 95 – 100 degrees, 50 mile road ride. About 35 miles into it and my quads and hamstrings are starting to twitch. At 40 miles I begin to cramp, but I’ve been keeping up with my hydration and electrolytes. Popped an e-gel and cramps went away. Started again 20 minutes later, popped another and finished the ride without any more cramps. I’ve ‘cured’ other folks cramps with this stuff before. Works great, especially toward the end of a ride.
