As a long-time marathoner, I’ve tried the so-called popular gels: Power Gel, GU, Stinger, etc., with inconsistent results. While training for the Rock N’ Roll marathon, I gave e-Gel a try. Wow! What a difference in taste, and most important, in performance. Cherry Bomb is my favoriate, and kept me going in San Diego. Since then, I’ve run 2 marathons and 3 half-marathons and feel that e-Gel is a major reason that my performance continues to improve.
